Looking for Trinity was created as a tribute to The Matrix, a film universe that has deeply shaped the way I think about cinema, images, rhythm, atmosphere, and science fiction. This project came from a simple desire: to create a short animated piece that could exist somewhere inside that world. Something nocturnal, tense, and mysterious, like a fragment from a larger story.
Creating this piece was a real pleasure and the process reminded me how rich this universe still is, visually and thematically. It was also a chance to collaborate with a small, talented team who helped bring the project's atmosphere, sound, music, and voice to life.
I also want to give my sincere thanks to the Wachowskis and all the artists, actors, technicians, and filmmakers who helped bring The Matrix to life. It remains one of the most influential and inspiring science fiction worlds ever created.
I hope you enjoy this piece. And perhaps, in some small way, I hope it can suggest how exciting it could be to explore The Matrix universe again through animation. I believe there are still many doors to open there.
This project is unofficial, independent, and non-commercial.
There is still so much to explore.
